Research: Categorising Title Sequences - Catch Me If You Can

Catch Me If You Can uses both features animation and motion in terms of including moving drawn stick figures with texts which are connected to creating the next part of the title sequence to create buildings for the stick figures which link fairly well with the moving images and makes excellent use of the black stick figures and the black text stand out with the use of nice vibrant colours for the background.I also very much so like the way it has been created rather than including the beginning of the scene animation and motion has been used to make audience think what type of film it is by not showing the actual scene. This type of title sequence is quite ingenious as it keeps people waiting only building up the anticipation as it is not clear what it may be about as we are left to guess from the animations and motion along with the sound track which doesn't make it any less difficult to figure out. I like how that is the only thing they used rather than adding so many effects as the typeface links from one part of the animation to another connecting all of them which they have made standout by the simple vibrant backgrounds which make the black animation and motion of the hand drawn stick figures stand out more. The way the credits come is typical as you have the name of film company, followed by production company, producer followed by the names of two actors before the name of the title is shown in the sequence which then progresses two the names of 11 actors along with the person who done casting with the name of the casting assistant followed by co-producer, the book it is based upon, who the music is by, costume designer, film editor, production designer, director of photography, co-executive producer, executive producer, who the film is produced by, who the screenplay is by and lastly who it is directed by. This long list indicates that this is a hollywood type film which has has a large budget in creating it.
