Reaction to the final day (deadline)

Reaction to the final day (deadline)

The deadline day of our media film was a very hectic day. We finished filming our sequences on the 5th of March. We needed to finish the shots of the "New kid" being pushed over by the bully, and being lifted up by the "Drama queen". Also, we had to get shots of the "Loner" sitting on the floor listening to music reclining against the wall from different angles with varying shots. such as extreme-close ups with a combination of high and low angles. We were also required to shoot the clips of the "Bully" grabbing a poster promoting a prom and slowly walking towards it. By the time we managed to re-group on the last day of the film making, we needed to fix several issues from the film. The first job we needed to do was to create the titles for the specific roles of the production such as Casting, Director, music designer etc. It took around 3 minutes to design each title. Once created, we had to export them, airdrop them and then place them into final cut pro. One of the negative outcomes of the titles was that they appeared very faint and difficult to see when they were exported into the project. We only discovered this problem in the remaining minutes of the deadline however. Another job we needed to complete was altering the ending of the sequence, because the shots of the "New kid" being lifted did't match the points that he enters the classroom. Miraj then went to complete the soundtrack and the narration within the last two hours of the deadline, so there was lots of activity and business to be taken care of, but we managed to complete these tasks and make the improvements by 4 o'clock. We did put a lot of time and effort into the making of the film, and the deadline day was the busiest and most tiresome day. We were the last group to finish the project, but I personally feel as though we rectified the mistakes we made and fixed the majority of problems such as the ending and some of the shots.

(This was the feedback we received from Mary and the improvements we needed to make).
